So post here what you need to do to fix features of your char, it helps if you found a base picture you want to base yourself off. Let's be realistic though, the Chance off finding pictures in free sites like pixabay that is exactly representative in features of your character is not that likely always. Or choose a new base image altogether.Ok there a fair few who are getting into DnD and may want to make character pictures Then SAVE □Īs you can see, I need to play around with it a lot more. I get the following lipgloss:ĭon’t forget to name the mesh in the Meshes tab. To change tints, double click on the string of numbers and letters next to the tint. Then replace the Mask with YOUR Mask.Ĭhange the top two tints to red and tint C to white. Then replace the Face Specular with YOUR Face Specular. Go back into CTU and click on the string of numbers next to Face Overlay. Select Light Blue (Turquoise) and hit ok. Ta-da! You now only have the shine of the lips left. Now drag the following slider down to black, as circled. We want to change the white in this image to black. Decrease the middle slider until you can see just a little bit of shine on the lips. It’s not necessarily the best way, but it’s my way. Once you learn what you’re doing you can design your Control however you like. See? You’ll want to now select Layers, Anchor Layer. Now go over to the box to the left and change the Layer Mode to Hard Light. Make sure the two rectangles I circled are as shown so that you’ve got black selected as your base colour XD Hit CTRL + A, and DELETE!!! Now fill with black. We now need to make the Face Specular □ As long as you don’t accidentally save again, your Face Overlay will remain bright. You’re like: WTF? She wants me to undo what I just saved? Well yes, I do. Ta-da! Face Overlay is finished! □ Step 4. Hit CTRL + S again so we can save this thing. Obviously you’ll have to adjust the levels differently to me because you’ll be using a different texture. Ok, so you’ve just done your Face Overlay. Once you have your lip gloss in the position you want, click on Layer, Anchor Layer. (This isn’t the best texture to use for lips. Resize the image by selecting Layer, Scale Layer from the menus at the top of the screen. File names for CAS items sometimes contain life. Copy and paste your base image onto the Face Overlay. Reshade Preset & Tutorial Masterlist Texturing & Recoloring. Export the Face Overlay, Face Specular and Mask files. Click on the string of letters and numbers to the right and click the ‘Find’ button, then ‘Export’. You should see a list with Face Overlay, Face Specular, and Mask available to be edited. Yes, it’s an image of my own lips lol A few things you must learn before attempting to use my method – you must have MOSTLY closed lips (unless you want the toothy lip look hahaha) and they must be fairly straight-on, facing the camera. I will use this lipgloss image as my base image. I use base images and manipulate them to look good in-game. My method is a little dodgey – I’m not an artist, I’m a pixel manipulator. ![]() It will make things so much easier for you to follow. If you’ve never used CTU before, PLEASE read my Hair Retextures Tutorial FIRST. You cannot do this tutorial without them. If you haven’t got GIMP and the GIMP PLUGINS, get them.
